As a result of company growth and demand for our services, we currently have an opportunity for a Law Clerk. We would expect the Law Clerk to work between 20-32 hours per week, and the ideal candidate will have an interest in a non-traditional legal career.

Responsibilities
Assist in tracking development in the evolution of Electronic Discover law, including drafting articles, newsletters, and other materials as needed.
Track the following topics:
New court decisions
Federal and state rules of civil procedure and evidence
Advisory committee activities
Scholarly and law review articles
Media commentary
Coordinate and assist with planning and developing education content and materials; assist with presentation development to be used by team members at industry conferences and in-firm CLEs
Assist team members with other legal and market research
Help with other messaging initiatives as needed

Qualifications
Have completed one year of law school at an accredited law school
Have completed Civil Procedure and Legal Research and Writing courses with passing grades
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Will have previous law clerking experience; exposure to litigation and discovery is preferred
Attention to detail is critical
Must have a high level of understanding of: Westlaw, Microsoft Suite and Outlook
